The Mayor’s Pride Awards were held this year at St. Michaels Manor on the 29th of March.

Corker Cars were nominated by the public in two categories and came to be finalists after hundreds of nominations for other businesses and individuals.

Corker Cars won the Community Orientated Business Of The Year for our Cabs for Jabs initiative, in which Corker Cars provided free taxi rides to and from vaccination centres for the elderly, vulnerable and those who couldn’t afford to get to the vaccination centres. Corker Cars were also commended for their Annual Day Trip for the elderly and vulnerable.

Corker Cars were also finalists for the Frontline Worker Award for providing a taxi service throughout the Covid 19 pandemic.

Corker Cars Director Mudassar Yasin said “We are humbled and honored that we were recently awarded the Community Oriented Business of the Year and that we were a Finalist for the Frontline Worker of the Year Award. This wouldn’t have been possible without the help an support from our staff, drivers and customers. We thank you all for your support”.
